Custom Heat Transfers
Sand Creek Custom Wear also offers custom heat transfers! Heat transfers are a type of screen print that is printed onto a piece of parchment paper and then applied to apparel by high heat. Our top-of-the-line equipment makes creating custom heat transfers easy. Heat transfers are best for apparel such as foam trucker caps, t-shirts, and sweatshirts. They are also great for customers who need small amounts of apparel at different times. We store extra heat transfer sheets for our customers after creating their initial order. This lets us quickly print new items for them in the future! This is especially beneficial for businesses in and around Sandpoint, as we can easily get new apparel to them quickly.
What is a Heat Transfer?
When we print using heat transfer, we print your logo in ink on parchment paper first. Then, at your convenience. we apply your logo to your custom apparel items using high heat.
Is there a minimum project size?
Yes. For small sizes (such as a left chest or cap), our minimum for custom heat transfers is 50. For large sizes (like a full front or full back), our minimum is 20.
Is there a set-up fee?
No. However, there may be an Art Fee assessed if your logo needs extensive work. If this is the case, we will disclose this prior to starting your custom heat transfer job.
How long does it take?
Our standard lead time for custom heat transfers is 2 weeks. If you need your items earlier, we may be able to accommodate you. However, a Rush Fee will apply.
How much does heat transfer cost?
Our prices are based on the number of colors used in your design, the placement of said design, and the quantity of apparel ordered. More colors lead to a more expensive bill. Ordering in bulk will lead to a better price break.
Can I supply my own apparel?
Yes, however we do not guarantee the heat transfer longevity. We suggest considering our apparel first. The apparel we carry are known to accept our embroidery methods. Check out our apparel tab to view our catalog! We will not replace any items if damaged.
What do you do with extra transfers?
Because we have order minimums for our heat transfers, if you do not use all of your transfers on your order, we store them for you at our offices in downtown Sandpoint, ID! This way, we can print your items on demand for your subsequent orders.
