Sand Creek Custom Wear started in 2010 with Jackie and Peter Gillis’ purchase of Earle’s Embroidery & Design. In 2014, the Gillises also purchased Meyers Sport Tees and moved the business to downtown Sandpoint, where it ultimately became known as Sand Creek Custom Wear. At the end of 2017, they purchased screen printing equipment to expand their services for locally decorated apparel!
In the summer of 2021, the Gillises retired. They sold the business to Elli and Aaron Vahrenwald. Elli, an Idaho native, and Aaron, a transplant, are excited to continue the legacy that Sand Creek Custom Wear has become in our North Idaho community. We are committed to the service and quality you have come to expect.

Our equipment
At Sand Creek Custom Wear, we have a variety of top-of-the-line equipment that we use to serve you! Whether you’re interested in screen printing, laser-etching, or something else, we have the machinery you need to bring your designs to life. Our machines include five single-head Barudan embroidery machines, one of which has been going strong for over 20 years! In addition, we have a Riley Hopkins four-color four-station manual screen printing machine. This machine allows us to load four garments at a time and print multi-colored designs! No matter what kind of custom apparel or special item you’re looking for, we can create it for you.
Our digital printing department has an Epson F2100 Direct-to-Garment printer, which allows us to produce any artwork on virtually any garment without minimums or extra costs for multiple colors. Our store also has a variety of Hotronix heat presses and a hat press, a top-tier brand that ensures our jobs are done correctly and with the highest quality in mind.
